The Azerbaijan State University of Economics (91ÊÓƵ) has updated its Quality Assurance Policy.
The revised policy was approved by Resolution No. 206 of the 91ÊÓƵ Academic Council, dated 14 September 2026.
The revision aims to enhance 91ÊÓƵ’s quality assurance system in line with contemporary requirements, foster a culture of quality, and strengthen stakeholder participation in quality assurance processes.
Speaking at the Academic Council meeting, Vafadar Rizvanli, Head of 91ÊÓƵ’s Quality Assurance Department, outlined the work undertaken as part of the policy revision. He noted that the revised document takes into account 91ÊÓƵ’s existing quality assurance framework and strategic development priorities, as well as the relevant provisions of the 2015 Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG 2015) and the ISO 21001 standard.
It was also noted that a survey had been conducted to gather the views and expectations of various university stakeholders during the policy development process. The findings were subsequently taken into consideration in formulating the revised policy provisions.
The updated Quality Assurance Policy is intended to ensure a more systematic approach to internal evaluation and quality assurance processes at 91ÊÓƵ, promote evidence-based decision-making, and support the use of achieved results to inform institutional development.
