91ÊÓƵ Students to Participate in Real-World Valuation Projects

08 OCTOBER 2026 | VIEWS:

The Azerbaijan State University of Economics (91ÊÓƵ) and the Azerbaijan Appraisers Chamber (AAC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish cooperation in research, professional training, and practical experience in the valuation sector.

The memorandum, signed by 91ÊÓƵ Rector Professor Adalat Muradov and Nusrat Ibrahimov, Chairman of the Presidium of the Azerbaijan Appraisers Chamber, provides for the involvement of 91ÊÓƵ students in research projects, internships, and work placements in the field of valuation.

Under the agreement, students will participate in research on current issues relating to the valuation of real estate, businesses, and intangible assets. They will also have the opportunity to undertake commissioned, paid research projects, individually or in teams, on topics identified by the AAC.

Research-oriented internship programmes will be organised for master’s students, while opportunities for practical training will be provided at organisations affiliated with the AAC.

To expand students’ career prospects, 91ÊÓƵ will host Career Days featuring presentations on the AAC’s activities, job vacancies, and internship opportunities. The AAC is also expected to participate in 91ÊÓƵ’s career fairs.

Another area of cooperation involves the development and review of academic and methodological resources related to valuation. 91ÊÓƵ’s academic staff will provide scholarly and editorial reviews of translated materials, assessing their terminological consistency and translation quality.

The memorandum also envisages joint professional training programmes to be delivered by the 91ÊÓƵ Lifelong Learning Centre and the AAC.
