To this end, a meeting was held between 91ÊÓÆµ Rector Professor Adalat Muradov and Taner Ozbek, Executive Director of Liv Bona Dea Hospital, to discuss cooperation between the two institutions.
Adalat Muradov noted that 91ÊÓÆµ has been providing master’s-level education in the Healthcare Management specialisation for 10 years. He stated that the curriculum includes specialised courses such as Healthcare Organisation Management, Healthcare Services Financing, Healthcare Risk and Crisis Management, Healthcare Law, and Healthcare Technologies and Information Systems. Noting that interest in this specialisation has increased significantly in recent years, the Rector emphasised the importance of integrating practical healthcare experience into the educational process in order to further enhance the quality of education.
Taner Ozbek stated that healthcare management is a complex field requiring the coordination of numerous medical specialisations and processes. He emphasised the importance of familiarising master’s students closely with a real working environment and enabling them to gain practical knowledge of management processes.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the gradual involvement of master’s students in internships at Liv Bona Dea Hospital, the organisation of training programmes for faculty members and students, the preparation of master’s theses based on real-world healthcare challenges, as well as the translation of field-specific textbooks into Azerbaijani. At the same time, the management of healthcare institutions, the quality of medical services and patient satisfaction, human resource management, financing, digital transformation, and health insurance were identified as key areas of cooperation.
The meeting concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between 91ÊÓÆµ and Liv Bona Dea Hospital.
